Registration

If you are registering a student for kindergarten, please see the Kindergarten Registration page.

If you are interested in the preschool program for 3 & 4 year olds, please see the Avon Preschool website.

If you are registering a student for grades 1 through 12:

Avon utilizes an online registration process, which involves multiple steps.

  1. To begin the process, submit the request to register form for each of your children by clicking here.
  2. Once this form is received, you will be contacted via email by the Registrar's Office with instructions to access PowerSchool, our student information system. 
  3. In PowerSchool, you will be able to provide:
    • student identity and residency documentation
    • parent/guardian information
    • emergency contact information
    • any additional forms needed by your child's school

For proof of your child's identity, you will need one of the following:

  • original U.S. birth certificate, or
  • current U.S. passport, or
  • foreign original birth certificate with a current passport

For proof of your residency, you will need one set of the following:

  • current signed lease and utility bill, or
  • mortgage statement and utility bill, or
  • warranty deed/title and utility bill

Items must show parent(s) name(s) as well as current address.

 

 

Withdrawal and change of name or address

Student withdrawals from Avon Public Schools are handled through the main office of each school with the exception of the high school where they are handheld in the Guidance Department.

Parents/guardians are asked to print and complete the withdrawal paperwork and bring them directly to their child's school.

 

Change of name and address are updated and completed through the Avon Public Schools Central Office.
